The walls are 3/4" oak veneered plywood with solid wood edging. The edging for the interior walls was made from a solid oak 2x2.
The shelves are removable. There are 89 sets of slots for shelves in each of the three bays, and a total of 128 shelves. The edges of the walls that contain the slots are chamfered.
Both the floors and ceilings of each bay are made from individual sheets of plywood identical to the shelves, but are held captive by the trim. The three sheets of the floor are grain matched, as are the three sheets of the ceiling.
