I'm a beginner woodworker who got into hobby to solve a couple of storage problems for another hobby. I was unable to find any commercially made products that satisfied my requirements so I decided to design and build them myself. At the time, I didn't have the appropriate knowledge or skills to tackle those specifics projects, so I started with some smaller projects and worked my way up.

I was fortunate to live near a woodworking supply store that also held classes. In 2018, I began taking several of their classes in an attempt to jump-start my woodworking hobby. The classes proved useful, and helped me avoid some mistakes that I would have otherwise found through trial and error.

Although I occasionally make decorative items or other things that are meant for display, I primarily make things that are designed to fulfill a specific need.
