A cat shelter had purchased several products from The Vertical Cat, a company that made various wall-mounted cat fixtures such as shelves and beds. When the shelter was forced to move to a new location, the manager decided to expand the use of these products. Unfortunately, it was discovered that The Vertical Cat had gone out of business. With no genuine shelves available for purchase, a replica was made to match the existing decor.
The shelf has two pieces of carpet that can be removed for cleaning or replacement.
